Downtown Edmonton
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Centre Director to lead our early learning program in downtown Edmonton. The ideal candidate is a confident, organized, and a passionate leader with a strong foundation in early childhood education and a commitment to high-quality programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily school operations and safety - including curriculum implementation, staffing, and parent communication
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Early Childhood Education licensing regulations and safety standards
- Lead and mentor teaching staff to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate programming
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with families and the licensee
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative school culture
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures that support a safe and nurturing environment
Qualifications
- Early Childhood Education Level 3 preferred
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a preschool or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with administrative and computer-based tasks
Working Conditions
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet ratios
- Active work environment including lifting, classroom setup, and assisting children
- Participation in field trips and school events required
- Periodic on-call responsibilities

Compensation
Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience.
