Position Overview: As a General Labourer, you will play a key role in supporting our operations by performing a variety of tasks. This position requires strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Tasks: Perform manual labour duties such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, and products as needed.
- Quality Control: Maintain quality in the products we make through grade checks and following our in-house quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Equipment Handling: Operate and maintain tools and machinery, as required, and ensure they are in good working condition.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and assisting colleagues as needed to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50lb safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Mechanical inclination is an asset but not required.
- Experience with Mobile Equipment preferred.
