Looking for a rewarding summer opportunity where you can contribute through hands-on support and administrative assistance? Seize this opportunity to embody our organizational values within our Technology Services Branch. As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Manager, Service Desk, you will assist with general office support, inventory coordination, workspace organization, and other day-to-day operational tasks. The role also includes general computer work such as using email and basic Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel. No technical expertise is required—just a positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to help wherever needed.

- Work collaboratively with staff and internal clients in a professional and helpful manner
- Exercise judgement, tact and discretion while working in a sensitive political work environment
- Assist with organizing workspaces, storage areas, and common equipment areas
- Support inventory activities such as counting, labeling, tracking, and moving equipment or supplies
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, document organization, and basic record updates
- Use email and basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel to help maintain simple logs, lists, and correspondence
- Help maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient work environment
- Take on other general duties and support tasks as assigned

- Experience as a post-secondary student, must be enrolled full-time in an accredited post-secondary program for fall/winter term (September to December) and availability to work for the summer term 2026
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable performing general physical tasks such as lifting, moving, organizing, and cleaning
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using a computer for general tasks, including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Basic administrative skills such as filing, organizing records, and keeping simple logs are an asset
- No technical expertise is required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 15 kg
