The Students’ Association is dedicated to elevating the student experience at Red Deer Polytechnic by offering essential services, effective political representation, and impactful opportunities to enrich their educational journey.
What you will be doing:
Assists in the day-to-day operation of the Association’s on campus convenience store while providing excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain high level of customer service.
- Keep the store clean and tidy.
- Make sure shelves are well stocked and merchandise is appropriately displayed.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in an efficient and respectful manner.
- Assist the store supervisor with monthly inventory counts.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy processing all orders and entering into the POS system.
- Ensure care and accuracy when handling cash and reports of all products sold.
- Maintain good working relationship with suppliers and customers.
- Maintains an understanding of the bylaws and policies of the Association.
- Reports equipment concerns and issues to the Lift Supervisor and Operations Director.
- Performs additional responsibility as directed by the Lift Supervisor or Operations Director at any time.

The ideal candidate for this position is a current student at Red Deer Polytechnic who is outgoing, customer-oriented, and organized. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Your experience includes:
- 1-2 years of post-secondary education.
The details:
- 10-15 hours per week
- $16.00/hour
- Monday - Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Student position - MUST SUBMIT FALL 2026 CLASS SCHEDULE with your application
- Term certain (September - December)
Pay: $16.00 per hour
