Job Summary:
- Install site amenities
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Determine layout and installation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
- Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
- Utilize hand and power tools
- Consulted for estimation of project costs;
- Experienced with regular operation of skid steer, telehandler, scissor lift, Auger, cement mixer, etc., for site amenity installations;
- Any other tasks as assigned by Management;
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures;
- Ensure all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with JGW code of business conduct and in accordance to the JGW Confidentiality Policy.
Skill Factor:
- Strong Mechanical background;
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in team environment;
- Experience operating construction equipment (ie. Telehandler, skid steer, Auger, scissor lift, cement mixer, etc.) for various site amenity installations.
- Experience towing equipment and/or enclosed tool trailers with pickup truck;
- Valid ‘G’ License, Drivers Abstract Required upon Hire.
Effort Factors:
- Occasional exposure to hot conditions in warm months;
- Capable of lifting products 50 pounds or less;
- High level of communication required to keep management informed of installation status and budget adherence;
- Travel, overtime & occasional overnight accommodations required for Site furnishings installations;
Education:
- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Previous installation, welding, and/or maintenance experience, preferred.
This position is located in Princeton, Ontario, which is 25 minutes from Cambridge and 10 minutes from Brantford.
