A well-established and respected law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 5-8 years of experience to join its growing litigation team in downtown Calgary.
Manage and advance insurance defence litigation files from inception to resolution.
Handle property, personal injury, and liability matters on behalf of insurer clients.
Conduct Questioning, mediations, negotiations, and court appearances.
Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other litigation documents.
Provide strategic advice and reporting to insurance clients.
Independently manage a busy file load while maintaining strong client relationships.
5-8 years of litigation experience.
Insurance Defence experience is mandatory.
Strong experience with insurer reporting and independent file management.
Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
