Duties
- Prepare and portion ingredients for daily menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of the food industry, including sanitation and safety regulations.
