Job Summary
River Crest Contracting is hiring a beginner or experienced Carpenter / Siding Installer to join our exteriors team. This is a hands-on trades role for someone who takes pride in the work itself — no crew management required. If you're a skilled carpenter (or willing to learn) with some or a lot of experience and want steady, well-paying work on quality projects across the Fraser Valley, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Install vinyl, Hardie (fibre cement), wood, or metal siding to manufacturer specs
- Install flashing and moisture barriers correctly the first time
- Frame and repair structural elements — sheathing, fascia, soffit, deck framing
- Perform finish carpentry: trim, mouldings, door and window installation
- Work independently or alongside a crew
- Keep a clean, safe, organized job site
What You Bring
- 1-5+ years of combined carpentry and siding installation experience
- Hands-on experience with at least one major siding system
- Own standard carpentry tools
- Valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather
- Red Seal Carpenter certification an asset, not required
