Inspector in London, Ontario. The successful candidate will support a World Class leader in the Defense industry, who aid in the design and manufacturing of light and medium sized armoured vehicles. This position will be on an evaluation hire basis (temporary to permanent); with approximately a 4 month evaluation period.

What you would be doing?
- Monitor work being completed, equipment, premises, welds, and product in order to ensure quality in all areas
- Take samples, measurements, density samples, inspection reports and follow up with QA supervisor with findings
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, etc.
- Assist with tooling
- Jump in with full on assembly & production to ensure quality is up to standards
- Participate in training where required
- Prepare work instructions as required
- Compile data within MS Excel and complete reports with other Microsoft Office application
- Provide support for quality investigations and resolution of quality issues.
What’s Required?
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree within a Quality Control related field/ courses preferred.
- 2+ years experience within Quality Control/ Quality Assurance / Quality Technician/Quality Inspection
- Must have experience with blueprint reading & tooling.
- You know WHMIS inside and out as you could be working around chemical mixed product.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word.
- Must have CSA approved steel toe safety footwear.
- Availability to start on short notice.
- Own reliable transportation (an asset).
- Flexible to work all shifts days, afternoons & nights.
- Willing to pass a criminal background check
- Willing to complete Controlled Goods Program Security Assessment (this assessment is a lot about you in the past 5 years, where you lived, went to school, 3 personal references, travel history, citizenship status, etc.)
