Overview
We are seeking a skilled AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate AZ-class vehicles in a safe and professional manner
- Transport freight to designated locations according to delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight regulations
- Complete logbooks, trip reports, and delivery documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Adhere to all MTO, company safety, and compliance standards
- Report vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company equipment
- Job Requirements:
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean CVOR and abstract
- Minimum 2 years AZ driving experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Ontario traffic laws and transportation regulations
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Physically capable of performing required duties (coupling, inspections, etc.)
