Senior Orthodontic CDA Opportunity — Path to Lead | Join Our Modern Practice!
We are seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant to step into a senior role within our modern, digitally-focused orthodontic practice. As part of our tight-knit team, you'll take on real clinical leadership while making meaningful connections with both colleagues and patients.
About Us: We operate out of two locations — one on Peatt Rd in Langford and another on Shelbourne St in Saanich. Our family-run practice has served Greater Victoria since 1993, and prides itself on creating a warm, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional orthodontic care.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist chairside during orthodontic procedures and examinations — this is a full chairside role, every day
- Manage daily patient flow across the clinical floor, keeping the schedule running smoothly
- Mentor and support junior CDAs and dental assistants
- Coordinate lab cases, including tracking, deadlines, and quality checks
- Oversee clinical inventory and supply ordering
- Maintain sterilization standards, treatment room protocols, and accurate documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Active Certified Dental Assistant license with the BCCOHP
- Completion of the Orthodontic Module
- 5+ years of orthodontic chairside experience
- Demonstrated leadership — formally or informally — in a clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule & Compensation:
- Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 7:50 AM – 4:30 PM
- Competitive pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
