We are looking for an energetic individual to join our friendly management and support team as an Optometric assistant. We are looking for an Optometric assistant that is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, is able to multi task and has strong communication skills. Experience in the optometry field is a plus but not required. Latimer Optometry is a new trendy clinic and we would love to have you grow with us in this exciting, modern area.
Responsibilities:
- answering phone calls and emails
- pre-testing patients for the doctor
- booking appointments and recalling patients
- running extra tests for the doctor
- welcoming and checking in patients
- interacting with patients
- assisting patients with frame selection
- direct billing to insurances
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
