ProCharted builds practice management software for accounting professionals. We're a small, product-focused team, which means the person in this role has real ownership: you'll work across the entire stack, ship features end to end, and see your work in front of customers quickly.
The Role
We're looking for a senior full-stack developer to take ownership of our platform — a multi-tenant SaaS product built on .NET and React, running entirely on Azure. You'll be our core developer, responsible for the backend APIs, the frontend app, our cloud infrastructure, and everything in between.
This role suits someone who is comfortable operating independently: making architectural decisions, prioritizing pragmatically, debugging across the whole stack, and communicating clearly with a non-technical founder/team.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain our .NET (C#) backend, including our HotChocolate GraphQL API
- Develop and improve our React.js frontend styled with TailwindCSS, and our Next.js marketing/landing site
- Own our Azure infrastructure: Container Apps, SQL Server, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Static Web Apps, and App Insights
- Manage authentication and identity via Azure AD B2C and MSAL.js
- Maintain and extend integrations with Stripe (payments) and SendGrid (email)
- Write and maintain automated tests (NUnit) and keep the local Docker-based dev environment healthy
- Manage releases across our dev and production environments, and monitor and troubleshoot issues in production
- Keep developer documentation current so the codebase stays approachable

- Third-party services: Stripe, SendGrid
- Tooling: GitHub, JetBrains Rider / WebStorm / DataGrip, 1Password, Notion
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong depth in C# / .NET
- Solid production experience with React.js; experience with Next.js and TailwindCSS is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Azure (or equivalent deep experience on another cloud with willingness to go deep on Azure)
- Experience with GraphQL APIs (HotChocolate specifically is a bonus)
- Comfort with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL (CosmosDB)
- Experience integrating third-party APIs such as Stripe and SendGrid
- A self-directed working style: you can take a loosely defined problem, scope it, and ship it without close supervision
- Clear written communication — as a remote team, we work in writing
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure AD B2C or other identity platforms
- Experience as the sole or lead developer on a SaaS product
- Familiarity with multi-tenant architecture
- Experience working with or building for accounting / professional-services software
