Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food and beverage service, strong time management skills, and a passion for hospitality. Candidates should be comfortable with POS systems, cash handling, and food safety standards to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively during busy periods
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking of supplies as needed
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and health codes
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrating professionalism and teamwork
