Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Level III) to lead fixed video / physical security solution deployments across Canada. This role manages end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-phase projects, primarily for government and enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical project management experience in video surveillance, security systems, or infrastructure deployments, along with proven ability to manage vendors, stakeholders, and timelines in high-pressure environments.
Job Summary
Lead full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, testing, delivery
Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, KPIs, and budgets
Act as primary customer-facing contact for stakeholders
Oversee fixed video / security system deployments (camera systems, access control, etc.)
Manage vendors, subcontractors, and installation partners
Track progress and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
Identify risks and drive proactive mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with Canadian regulatory, security, and data requirements
Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams (engineering, procurement, IT, etc.)
Support site visits, kickoff meetings, and implementation activities
Must Have Qualifications
8–10+ years of Project Management experience
Experience delivering technology or infrastructure deployment projects
Hands-on experience with at least ONE of:
Fixed Video Surveillance / CCTV / Access Control
IT Network Deployments
Public Safety / Communications systems
Low-voltage / electrical infrastructure projects
Strong expertise in:
Scheduling, budgeting, vendor management
Stakeholder communication and reporting
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Clearance: Must possess, or have the ability to successfully achieve, a Canadian government security clearance (e.g., Reliability Status or Secret) and any required provincial security worker licenses
- Preferred Qualifications
PMP Certification (highly preferred)
Experience working with government or public sector clients
Exposure to tools such as:
Smartsheet, MS Project, Procore
Visio, Bluebeam, Lucidchart
Avigilon tools (ACC / design tools – nice to have)
Knowledge of construction coordination or installation lifecycle
Comfortable working in hybrid environment + travel (~25%)
