Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Full-Time Cashier to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
- Provide product information, conduct product demos, and upsell items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is clean and welcoming.
- Assist customers with inquiries, returns, and exchanges using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Support inventory management through merchandising tasks and stock replenishment.
- Uphold store policies regarding cash handling, security, and customer privacy.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, especially bilingual proficiency in English and other languages.
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills for cash handling, and merchandising experience are advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential for success in this role.
- Experience conducting product demos or technical sales can be beneficial for engaging customers effectively. This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting team objectives.
Pay: $35.14-$37.23 per hour
