Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dependable Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities, including basic food handling and safety procedures
- Serve food to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of shortages or issues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is advantageous
