Our kayak guides work in small teams of two or three, leading and assisting half-day and full-day sea-kayaking tours on the Bay of Fundy.
Successful applicants will:
- Guide varied groups of guests safely on the water
- Teach practical paddling techniques and on-water safety
- Deliver high-quality outdoor experiences to people of many backgrounds and levels of ability
- Provide natural and cultural interpretation (training material supplied)
- Conduct pre-trip briefings and waiver explanations
- Prepare kayaks and safety equipment for daily operations
- Clean and maintain equipment after each tour
- Participate in staff training and orientation in late May and early June
- Adhere to Transport Canada regulations and all internal safety standards
- Support environmental stewardship through responsible, low-impact practices
- Be able to communicate in French and English (conversational)
