We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Mobile Patrol Guard for the Night Shift to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves patrolling designated areas, monitoring surveillance systems, and preventing loss or unauthorized access. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond promptly to security incidents. Prior experience in law enforcement or security is a plus, but not required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to maintaining safety and security during overnight hours.
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the property using company vehicles or on foot to identify potential security breaches or hazards
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or suspicious activities, and document incidents accurately
- Enforce loss prevention measures by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
- Maintain detailed logs of patrols, observations, and incidents for reporting purposes
- Assist in controlling access points by verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns
- Ensure all security protocols are followed consistently throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security, surveillance, or loss prevention is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques is advantageous
- Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to remain alert and vigilant during overnight hours for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for patrol duties involving vehicle use
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Must pass background checks and any required training certifications for security personnel
- Must have a valid Alberta Security License

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
