Assistant Manager at Innovative MD Medical Clinic

Assistant Manager Job Responsibilities:
● Manage the recruitment, training, and development of office personnel to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
● Manage daily activities and schedules of office staff.
● Oversee office technology including:
● Third party billing
● Submit NIHB Prior approval and reconcile claims
● Coordinating with EMR vendor, IT support, and Shared Health
● Managing home clinic patient enrollments
● Monitoring clinic email
● EMR monitoring, remediation reports, liaise with IERHA regarding reports
● Monitor patient results and ensure directed to appropriate provider/department
● Responsible for bank deposits, payments for supplier accounts, invoicing vendors and subcontractors, coordinating with bookkeeper,
● Liaise with building manager regarding concerns/maintenance
● Reports directly to Physician team.
● Managing, coordinating and distributing Physician schedules, and corresponding third party billing invoices
● Manage office supplies/inventory.
● Work front desk answering phones, patient scheduling, interacting with patients as needed.
Business Management Qualifications/Skills:
● Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Provide effective leadership and support to our team
● Strong leadership skills for effectively guiding and motivating office support staff.
● Knowledge of HR practices and experience in staff supervision.
● Knowledge of regulatory compliance and best practices in medical office management.
● Preferred 3-4 years' experience in medical office management or a related role preferred.
● Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently manage office processes, documentation, and resources.
● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with patients, staff, and vendors.
● Excellent knowledge of healthcare EMR’s or other relevant software programs.
● Familiarity with general accounting principles and budgeting.
● Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control to ensure the organization's financial well-being.
● Proficient in office software and technology and capable of managing IT resources.
Work Hours & Benefits
FT hours with competitive compensation based on experience, health benefits co-pay if this is of interest. Annual salary review with potential for growth.
