GROOMING CERTIFICATE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of dog and cat breeds, ensuring each pet looks and feels their best. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment dedicated to animal care and customer satisfaction. The Pet Groomer will also foster positive relationships with pet owners, offering advice and recommendations for ongoing pet grooming needs.
Must have grooming, experience and certificate
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences
- Handle pets with care and patience, ensuring a safe and stress-free experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools and work area
- Assist pet owners by providing advice on grooming needs and aftercare instructions
- Ensure timely completion of grooming services
- Uphold safety protocols, including heavy lifting when handling larger or heavier animals
- Monitor pets during grooming for signs of distress or health issues and communicate concerns to pet owners or management
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Experience
- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care fields
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as lifting larger animals or equipment
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience and gentle handling skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Confident grooming a range of breeds, coat types, and styles

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
