Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Provide attentive guest services by checking on tables regularly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling specials or additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of the food industry.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume shifts.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, tipping, and inventory purposes.
- Previous restaurant experience that demonstrates reliability, teamwork, and hospitality expertise is highly desirable.
