Overview
Comb & Collar Dog Grooming is hiring a FULL TIME Groomer ASAP. Must be able to work Tuesday - Saturday. This is a commission based position 50%, paid out on the 15th and last day of the month. We are a small, cute shop located in downtown Cochrane. We are an appointment based salon to provide a more positive, 1 on 1 experience.
Skills
- Minimum 2-3 years work experience
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to groom 4-6 dogs per day
- Must be knowledge with all breed cuts
- Must be able to groom large dogs (NO XL dogs)
- Must possess a gentle and caring demeanor (Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a relationship with the dog and pet parent
- Check in/out of your clients, taking payments, printing invoices
- Making appointment reminders calls
- Rebooking your clients to maintain a regular schedule
- Answering the phone
- Help with the shop cleaning like sweeping, moping & laundry
- Having your own tools
- Posting pictures of your grooms to Facebook/Instagram once per week
- Have your own GST number so you can remit your GST
- Must provide references

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
