Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed safely and efficiently. Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for various projects.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks effectively.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Help with the installation of construction-related tasks as required.
- Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
Skills
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Knowledge of construction practices and tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Position Details
- 35 hours per week minimum
- 8 week contract
- Compensation: $19 per hour
Applicants must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment and legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with Canada Summer Jobs program requirements.
Valley Home Improvements, based in Markdale, serves job sites typically within a 45-minute radius.
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
