The Opportunity
As a Group fitness instructor, you help to enhance the quality of life of Airdrie residents by purposefully creating memorable experiences, lasting relationships and classes that are developed in alignment with Fitness Alberta standards for group exercise professionals.
Responsibilities Includes:
- Deliver high quality group fitness classes to our customers including adults, children and youth
- Motivate and inspire confidence in participants
You Bring
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Current Fitness Alberta or equivalent certifications (ie: CanFitPro FIS) in Group Exercise required.
- Current Zumba certification
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR C and AED required
- Past experience and demonstrated skills teaching group recreation programs required
- Proven background in providing exceptional customer service
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Mature and reliable

Additional Information
This competition is for part-time (casual) Group Fitness Instructors, specifically Zumba Instructors, to lead early morning, evening, and weekend classes.
Candidates with experience leading group fitness to adults, children and youth will be given priority.
