Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service. A valid commercial driver’s license and good communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery trucks and commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload trays of Bread for delivery
- Ensure accurate delivery of items while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered.
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
- Must Have a Valid Passport
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory for all roles.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for maintaining vehicle safety and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Experience with moving freight or cargo handling is desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items, move freight, and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not required.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe driving practices.
Pay: $240.00-$360.00 per week
