General Construction Labourer / Carpenter Apprentice (1st–3rd Year)
McMann Group Inc. is a reputable and rapidly growing local construction company seeking qualified applicants for upcoming projects and developments.
Job Summary:
- Site preparation and daily clean-up
- Material handling and general construction labour
- Cutting material to specification using hand and power tools
- Assisting carpenters and other trades as needed
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract (required)
- Minimum 3 years construction experience (preferred)
- Framing experience is required for the Carpenter position; an asset for General Labour or Finishing Labour (cabinet install, siding)
- Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
- Working knowledge of building processes
- Physical capability to perform labour
- Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks
- Positive attitude, works well with others
- Experience operating small equipment an asset
