Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the craftsmanship and construction of custom cabinetry, ensuring precision, quality, and durability in every project. Your expertise will drive the creation of beautiful, functional cabinetry solutions for residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
- Build and assemble custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
- Operate woodworking machinery safely, including table saws, edgebanders, panel saws, and other shop equipment.
- Install hardware, drawers, doors, and specialty accessories.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards.
- Assist with onsite installations when required.
- Troubleshoot production issues and recommend solutions.
- Mentor and support junior cabinet makers and apprentices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in custom cabinetry or architectural millwork.
- Strong ability to read shop drawings.
- Experience with frameless and custom cabinetry construction.
- Excellent knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and hardware.
- Experience using power tools and woodworking machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid G driver's licence is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial millwork.
- Knowledge of Mozaik, AutoCAD, or CNC production is an asset.
- Installation experience.
Pay: $20.00-$55.00 per hour
