Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and eye health using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, or other treatments based on patient needs.
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and other eye diseases.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and proper use of eyewear or contact lenses.
- Collaborate with opticians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Assist in managing pediatric and senior care cases, tailoring approaches to specific age groups.
- Engage in patient care initiatives that promote overall wellness and vision health.
- Participate in sales activities related to eyewear products and accessories, providing expert recommendations.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as an Optometrist with current certification to practice.
- Prior optical experience is preferred, with familiarity in pediatric and senior care being advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to eye health and diagnostics.
- Experience working with electronic health records systems such as Epic is desirable.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, explaining complex information clearly.

Pay: $70,749.77-$150,000.00 per year
