Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our chiropractor with 25 years of experience. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse client base while working in a supportive and professional environment. We are located in a newly constructed, secure building. We are conveniently located near Marine Gateway sky train station (Canada Line).
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health history and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in compliance with licensing requirements and clinic policies.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or stretches as appropriate.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client wellness plans.
- Promote the benefits of massage therapy services to current and prospective clients through excellent customer service.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in accordance with provincial requirements.
- Prior experience providing therapeutic massage in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory.
