Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping and Building Maintenance professional to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of our facilities. This role involves performing cleaning tasks and routine maintenance to uphold high standards of hygiene and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as inspecting and repairing lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building components.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, walls, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools; restock as needed.
- Identify maintenance issues promptly and coordinate repairs with external vendors or internal teams.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Document completed tasks and report any safety hazards or repair needs to management promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in commercial or facilities settings.
- Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic maintenance tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment at all times.
Pay: $47,500.00-$50,000.00 per year
