Our Truck Drivers provide exceptional customer service through the transportation of equipment for the dealership. Responsibilities
- Transport over-weight and over-dimensional equipment loads to/from customers and/or between dealerships
- Support Sales Department with equipment deliveries as needed
- Maintain accurate records and up to date certifications and permits
- Meet operating standards, required inspections, and codes for commercial vehicle transport
- Keep assigned truck and related equipment in good condition and monitor performance and mechanical fitness of vehicle
- Provide basic operating directions to customers as needed
- Ensure self and others follow all safety regulations and requirements
- Build and maintain positive co-worker relations
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience hauling equipment, and truck/trailer repair/maintenance
- Knowledgeable of overweight/over dimensional hauls and use of RGN trailers
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device, and operation of ag equipment would be considered an asset
- Clean drivers abstract in the last 3 years
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Valid 1A Drivers License
- Must be able to work extended shifts away from home location 2 to 3 days as required
