Job Summary
We are currently building our roster of Construction Safety Officers (CSO), National Construction Safety Officers (NCSO), Health & Safety Advisors, Coordinators, and HSE professionals for upcoming opportunities with construction, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, and utility clients throughout British Columbia.
Responsibilities
Depending on client requirements, responsibilities may include:
- Conducting site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits
- Promoting compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company safety policies
- Delivering site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training
- Investigating incidents, near misses, and workplace injuries
- Maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation
- Assisting project teams with risk management and safe work planning
- Monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with established safety procedures
- Supporting a positive safety culture across project sites
Experience
- Valid CSO or NCSO designation preferred
- Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities, or related sectors
- Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and occupational health and safety practices
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, investigations, and safety reporting
- Occupational First Aid certification considered an asset
- COR auditing experience considered an asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
Compensation
Compensation will vary based on position, certifications, project requirements, location, and experience.
