Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile <PERSON> to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills in carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and general construction. This role involves working on diverse projects including restoration, cabinetry, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and more. The <PERSON> will be responsible for executing detailed tasks with precision, ensuring quality workmanship across various trades. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to support foundational structures.
- Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, siding, roofing, and other building components with attention to detail.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and scaffolding safely and effectively.
- Conduct electrical wiring, plumbing installations, caulking, and painting as required for project completion.
- Assist with construction estimating and project planning to ensure timely delivery of work.
- Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform general handyman duties including assembly, repairs, and maintenance across job sites.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or general contracting.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools; experience with CNC machining is a plus.
- Knowledge of various trades including restoration work, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, siding application, and rebar installation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites.
- Handyman experience or electrical/plumbing expertise is highly desirable.
