This role reports directly to our Director of Growth (Kayla Leon) and works closely with our CEO, Dr. Peggy McColl, and the broader leadership team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms.
- Create engaging content that builds awareness, trust, and community.
- Grow Aligna's online presence and audience organically.
- Identify PR, podcast, speaking, and media opportunities.
- Help position Aligna as a thought leader in AI and innovation.
- Coordinate content calendars and campaign launches.
- Monitor trends and identify creative ways to increase visibility.
- Collaborate with internal team members to capture stories, milestones, and product updates.
- Support marketing initiatives that contribute to customer growth and brand recognition.
- Measure performance and continually refine strategies based on results.
- Be willing to roll up your sleeves and contribute wherever needed as part of a fast-growing startup.

Experience
Previous experience is certainly welcome, but it is not required.
We're far more interested in finding someone with outstanding talent, creativity, work ethic, and a growth mindset than someone with an impressive résumé.

Work Arrangement
This is primarily an in-office position based in our Kanata office, with flexibility to work remotely from time to time.

Pay: $52,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
