Pro Tax Block is seeking a confident, professional, and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to manage front desk operations and provide exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients promptly and professionally.
- Manage client flow and notify staff of arrivals.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
- Maintain organized client files and office records.
- Respond to email inquiries and other tasks as assigned.
- Assist with administrative tasks, document preparation, and office operations.
- Ensure the reception area remains professional and organized at all times.
Qualifications & Expectations
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business Administration, Office Administration, Customer Service, or related field is an asset.
- Must have access to and experience using a CRA My Account / CRA portal (or ability to securely navigate client CRA accounts as part of office duties).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Confident, professional, and customer-service oriented.
- Ability to follow instructions, office procedures, and company policies.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous reception, administrative, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
