Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods for our clients. This position requires physical stamina, strong communication skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. You will be responsible for heavy lifting and may operate forklifts or other equipment as needed.
Duties
- Safely load and unload items from trucks and vehicles.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items for transport.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery to facilitate moving tasks (certification preferred).
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
- Perform heavy lifting of various items, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while on the job.
Experience
- Previous experience in moving or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for positions requiring vehicle operation.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
