Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Residential Plumber to join our team, providing essential plumbing services for residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in plumbing systems, mechanical knowledge, and construction experience. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installations or repairs
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates
- Perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations when necessary
- Assist with construction projects involving plumbing components
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with a focus on plumbing systems
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus but not required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Construction experience including carpentry skills is advantageous
- Familiarity with commercial driving is beneficial for transporting materials or equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and building codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
