Marketing Coordinator — Cookery (Retail + E-Commerce)About Cookery
Cookery is a Canadian kitchenware retailer with boutiques in Toronto & Montreal and a thriving online store. We curate premium cookware, tools, and linens, and host chef-led cooking classes. We’re hiring a Marketing Coordinator to execute polished, data-driven campaigns across email, social, web, and in-store—using our core stack: Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, Google Analytics (GA4), Stocky, and Better Reports.
What You’ll DoCampaigns & Content (Klaviyo + Canva + Shopify)
- Build and send 2–3 Klaviyo campaigns/week (sales, new arrivals, classes) with segmentation, A/B tests, and clean UTM tracking.
- Maintain flows (welcome, post-purchase, browse/abandon, win-back, back-in-stock) and report on lift.
- Write on-brand copy (EN; FR-CA an asset) and produce fast-turn assets in Canva using brand templates (email hero 1200×600, PDP graphics, stories/reels covers, window/A-frame prints).
- Launch coordinated Shopify content: home page banners, featured collections, promo bars, and landing pages for sales and cooking classes.
Site & Merchandising (Shopify)
- Refresh collections, tags, and metafields; ensure pricing, variants, and shipping messaging are accurate before campaigns go live.
- Build sale collections and apply bulk price rules/discount codes; schedule launches and takedowns.
- QA PDPs (images, alt text, size/colour availability) and fix broken links/redirects.
Inventory & Readiness (Stocky)
- Partner with store/ops to confirm campaign quantities in Stocky; flag low/at-risk SKUs and recommend substitutes.
- Prepare simple PO/transfer suggestions ahead of promos and class pushes; monitor sell-through during campaigns and adjust featured products accordingly.
Measurement & Reporting (GA4 + Better Reports)
- Own weekly KPI snapshot using GA4 (sessions, source/medium, conversion, revenue, AOV) and Better Reports (SKU-level sales, margin, store vs. online, classes sell-through).
- Attribute email revenue accurately with UTMs; share clear insights and next-step tests (subject lines, send times, creative, offer framing).
- Maintain a living dashboard (campaign revenue, CTR, opt-in growth, list health, top SKUs, OOS hits) and a monthly summary for leadership.
In-Store & Classes
- Produce simple window/A-frame/chalkboard copy for promos and last-seat classes; align store teams on talking points.
- Create/refresh class pages in Shopify (menus, dates, what to expect); manage waitlists and last-minute fills via Klaviyo segments.
What You’ll Bring
- 2–4 years in retail/e-commerce marketing or lifecycle/email operations.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and Klaviyo (must-have), Canva, GA4; familiarity with Stocky and Better Reports (or similar inventory/reporting tools).
- Strong copywriting and editing; comfortable switching between promotional and editorial tones.
- Solid spreadsheet skills; disciplined with UTMs and campaign naming.
- Organized, deadline-reliable, and calm under seasonal pivots.
- Nice to have: French (Canadian) copywriting; light HTML/CSS; basic product photography.
How We’ll Measure Success
- List growth & health: steady opt-in growth, engaged segments, low spam/complaints.
- Revenue impact: campaign/flow revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and SKU sell-through during promos.
- Readiness: on-time launches with stocked hero SKUs; minimal OOS clicks.
- Quality & speed: error-free sends, crisp assets, fast iteration on insights.
Your First 90 Days (Tool-Specific)
- 30 days: Ship your first Klaviyo campaigns; set/clean UTMs; publish a Shopify promo landing page; deliver a weekly GA4/Better Reports snapshot.
- 60 days: Refresh two lifecycle flows; build a reusable Canva template set; pilot a back-in-stock or last-seat class automation; create a Stocky pre-promo checklist.
- 90 days: Lead a full promo (e.g., Fall Cookware Sale) end-to-end—Shopify assets, Klaviyo sends/flows, inventory checks in Stocky, and a post-mortem with GA4/Better Reports insights.
