Position Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Outdoor Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor activities, works well in a fast-paced retail environment, and takes pride in helping customers find the right gear and apparel for their adventures.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable, friendly service
- Assist customers with product selection, sizing, and gear recommendations
- Maintain strong knowledge of outdoor equipment, apparel, and seasonal products
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accurately
- Restock merchandise and maintain organized, visually appealing displays
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment
- Participate in team meetings, product training, and promotional events
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Passion for outdoor recreation and gear
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
