Overview
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic food service team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry, with a focus on providing excellent meal preparation and food service. The Kitchen Staff will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment while delivering high-quality food to our customers. Prior restaurant or food handling experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure all team members meet our standards of food safety and service excellence.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy hours
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and organizing supplies
- Follow all safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations
- Support team members in various kitchen tasks as needed to ensure smooth operation
- Restock ingredients and supplies to ensure availability for meal preparation
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety practices
- Experience with food handling, meal assembly, and maintaining cleanliness standards in a kitchen setting
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for hygiene and safety is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills and procedures
Pay: $16.60 per hour
