Overview
We are seeking a skilled Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves the installation, restoration, and maintenance of windows and doors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and industry standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.
- Perform caulking and sealing to ensure energy efficiency and weatherproofing.
- Conduct restoration work on existing windows and doors as needed.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including plumbers and electricians, to ensure seamless project completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with additional tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, construction painting, and welding when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry is essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to window/door installation.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and restoration processes is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
