We are looking for an ONLINE FINISHING EDITOR at our Vancouver location. This is a full time position with benefits. Our Online Finishing Editors are responsible for data management, conforms, finishing editorial work and deliverables.
Primary Responsibilities:

Data management
-
Proper set up and archiving of finishing projects
-
Conform of offline media to online project
-
Online FX (minor compositing, roto, QC fixes that do not require VFX)
-
VFX Drop ins
-
Titling
-
Laybacks
-
Mastering and Versioning for Delivery
-
Assisting Colorists with pre-Color and other Post Production needs
General Requirements:
-
Experience with Avid, Baselight, Resolve and After Effects

An understanding of post finishing workflow
-
Familiar with Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems
-
Knowledgeable in different video formats and native camera codecs
-
Quick to learn new software and workflows
-
Able to adapt and problem solve technical issues; troubleshooting

Attention to detail and quality assurance
-
Must also be able to multitask for time sensitive deadlines

Strong communication skills

Eager and a team player!
Qualifications:
-
Applicable work experience.
-
High School education or equivalent required.

Post Secondary education in related field is suggested.
