We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Building Engineer to play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of various technical projects. You will be involved in both design and coordination, as well as providing support to project teams.
Your responsibilities
Design and technical expertise
- Design and develop building mechanical projects (plumbing, ventilation, controls, etc.)
- Perform the technical calculations required to ensure system compliance and performance
- Participate in the preparation of technical drawings and specifications
- Provide technical support to internal teams
Technical management and coordination
- Take responsibility for building mechanical projects
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (civil, electrical, structural, Water/Wastewater treatment and mechanical process, etc.)
- Participate in the technical coordination of projects
- Carry out site supervision when required
Development and continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development of the mechanical department
- Participate in the preparation of service proposals
- Propose optimized and innovative technical solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and work methods
You are the right person for this position if:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (consulting engineering is an asset)
- You are proficient with tools such as AutoCAD, IESVE and Revit
- You have a good knowledge of technical equipment (an asset)
- You have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
