Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing kitchen cabinets, ensuring they are secure, level, and aesthetically aligned with project specifications. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to ensure precise cabinet placement.
- Measure spaces accurately and plan layout configurations for optimal cabinet fit and function.
- Install kitchen cabinets using hand tools and power tools, ensuring secure attachment to walls and floors.
- Adjust cabinets for levelness and alignment, making necessary modifications for a flawless finish.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Perform related tasks such as caulking, sealing, and finishing touches to enhance the overall appearance.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to cabinet installation.
- Experience with woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, and masonry principles applicable to cabinetry work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling.
- Familiarity with construction estimating, rebar installation, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, and flooring installation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and alignments.
