We are seeking an energetic and dependable AIDE-LIVREUR/DELIVERY HELPER to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist with delivery operations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods to our valued clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their driving and logistics skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Assist the delivery driver with loading and unloading goods using equipment when necessary
- Load products onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure placement for transit
- Support route driving by helping to navigate delivery schedules efficiently
- Help load and unload shipments at restaurants, managing heavy lifting safely
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each route
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all loading, unloading, and driving activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or warehouse environments is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work in physically demanding situations
