Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of rental properties between guest stays, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and common spaces
- Restock essentials such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning supplies to ensure readiness for incoming guests
- Conduct detailed inspections and complete mandatory inspections to identify maintenance issues or damages, as well as general cleaning requirements, and report it on our internal systems
- Follow established cleaning protocols using professional-grade equipment and provided cleaning products
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout all assigned properties
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for guests and team members
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleanings within designated windows, ensuring timely turnovers
At this time we are specifically hiring for short term rental cleaners available a minimum of 2 hours, any days primarily between 11-4 pm. We are prioritizing candidates who are available with short notice within that time window, as our rental schedule fluctuates and additional cleans are added frequently during peak season. You will receive your schedule each week in advance, but please note that locations may change unexpectedly and cancellations may occur. You will be made aware of changes in real time, and will be compensated accordingly as required.
We have commercial and residential divisions, and we are always happy to cross train if there is an interest or desire for additional hours after the initial training period has elapsed.
Experience
- Prior custodial or cleaning experience in hospitality, hotel, or industrial settings is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or short-term rental operations is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or with 1-2 additional team members with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness excellence
- Ability to navigate various cleaning tools and products safely and effectively
- Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles provides valuable insight into guest expectations and service standards
- Strong time management skills and receptivity to feedback required
- Cleared Criminal Record check required upon employment (reimbursed after probationary period has elapsed)
- Must be bondable
- Drivers license and reliable vehicle required
