We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Jr. Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards
- Support food presentation and ensure consistency in taste and appearance
- Manage food inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and monitor stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils in compliance with health regulations
- Serve as a leader on the floor during service hours, providing guidance to team members
- Collaborate with restaurant management to improve service quality and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Experience in team management, restaurant management, or leadership roles within the food industry
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling procedures, and hospitality standards
- Prior restaurant experience demonstrating proficiency in food service and serving roles
- Familiarity with the principles of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
