Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grill Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality grilled dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meet food safety guidelines
- Serve food to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
- Follow proper food preparation procedures, including meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, particularly with grilling or barbecue is preferred
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, handling, and sanitation
- Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for grilling and food preparation
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service excellence
- Prior experience working in a restaurant or similar food industry setting is highly desirable
