Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Production & Assembly Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, active work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and productivity.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and experienced working with hand and power tools in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or refurbishing environment. This role requires standing for extended periods, meeting daily production targets, and maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete new and refurbishment work orders based on priority scheduling
- Build temporary ground cables using specified clamps and components
- Accurately identify and label products and completed assemblies
- Repair and refurbish temporary grounds by replacing damaged components using hand and power tools
- Test refurbished temporary grounds for resistance compliance throughout the process
- Construct live line jumpers and assemble various safety and rescue products, including mats
- Complete certificates and documentation in accordance with repair and testing reports
- Review customer binders and specifications before starting work to ensure compliance with customer standards
- Perform quality assurance checks and update forms to ensure all information is accurate before releasing work orders
- Maintain organized inventory and work areas
- Communicate with supervisors and service coordinators regarding rush orders, priorities, deadlines, and lead-time concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with additional production and assembly duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, refurbishment, or a similar hands-on environment is required
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production quotas
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with basic computer programs as excel and word

- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working in an active production environment

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
